Jason Wells[1].jpgY&R New Zealand has appointed Jason Wells as its new national creative/ideas director.  This is a newly created role covering both Auckland and Wellington Y&R offices.

Wells will be responsible for idea generation and leadership in partnership with creative teams in both offices and he will be a key partner for CEO, Jon Ramage and National Planner, Janisa Parag.

Wells  has more than 20 years experience in the business in a career spanning client side marketing at DB, account leadership, agency management and most recently as national creative planner for Y&R. He’s worked on some of the agencies biggest and most successful campaigns and is a passionate digital native.

“The future of our business is the creation of ideas that help clients grow. Jason’s appointment reinforces that and is a natural extension of the integrated approach Y&R is well known for – smart, effective work across all channels be they retail, brand or one-to-one.” said Jon Ramage, CEO.

“I’m very excited about the new role and can’t wait to starting dialling up the work”, said Wells.  My first priority is some key new hirings for both offices, followed by a renewed focus on truly innovative ideas.”
