Youngbloods NSW calls for new committee members; applications close Monday, April 11
Youth arm of ACA, Youngbloods, is looking for new committee members to join their NSW team. Applications close on Monday, April 11.
Youngbloods are responsible for programs, events and initiatives that help engage, mentor, and promote young advertising talent within each local industry. Across the country, they host the Battle of the Bands night in WA, the nationwide Hard Sell competition, and various other events and programs. Last year, the NSW team launched the Lessons in Hindsight podcast, an initiative designed to engage young people when they couldn’t physically hold programs. So far, the podcast has hosted industry ‘big dogs’, like Barb Humphries and Esther Clerehan, who spoke candidly about what they wish they knew as ‘little dogs’ fresh to the industry.
Hannah Lawson, NSW co-chair, says Youngbloods NSW are looking to ramp up in-person events post COVID disruptions: “Now that people are back in the office, we finally have the opportunity to bring people together and host some really awesome events.”
Adds Lizzie Wood, other NSW co-chair: “We have some really exciting ideas, and now need a couple more eager, talented people to help us bring them to life.”
Youngbloods is recruiting any young leader from across the industry, whether they’re a producer, account manager, strategist, creative, director, PR professional, marketer, or anything in between.
To apply, you must submit a 60 second video explaining why you would be an asset to the NSW Youngbloods team.

What a bloke
Thank you. Amazing advice. You should keep providing this insight. You’re helping the industry be better with your constructive and insightful feedback on a single image of what is ultimately, a call for young creatives to help out and make our industry a bit more positive. Great job mate. Bet it felt good typing that accurate assessment of a zero budget image from a youth committee. How high is that horse you’re on cause I bet it’s huuuuuge and impressive as hell. Random question.. do you sniff your own socks at night after you take ’em off? I bet they smell like unicorns and rainbows to you after a hard day’s work of pushing smart objects around in indesign. Are you making a difference mate? Are you living the dream?
Leave.
You know you dont feed the trolls yeah
