Next Wednesday Yanni Pounartzis launches first solo exhibition at Global Gallery, Paddington
Award-winning creative Yanni Pounartzis is launching his first solo exhibition next Wednesday 21st November at Global Gallery, Paddington.
In ‘The Deconstructions’, Pounartzis displays his fascination with spatial order and relationship of form. The compositions are instinctual and aim to create the illusion of elements hovering over the canvas, giving depth and volume on a two-dimensional surface. The painstaking work is counterbalanced by visible strokes and markings that reveal Pounartzis’ process, in his otherwise highly controlled compositions.
‘The Deconstructions’ is a culmination of 2 years work. Opening night is on Wednesday 21st November from 6-8pm at the Global Gallery, 5 Comber St Paddington. Exhibition runs until the 4th December.
