Worboys joins JayGrey as managing partner
JayGrey, Sydney has hired Paul Worboys as managing partner, to team with the agency’s founding creative partner, Jay Furby. Worboys has been consulting since leaving Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney a year ago, where he was head of digital and direct.
Saatchi & Saatchi hired Worboys in October, 2006. In 2003 whilst at Whybin Lawrence TBWA, helaunched and built Tequila Sydney which specializes in integrateddigital and direct solutions. Under his tenure Tequila won fourinteractive agency of the year awards as well as picking up gongs frommost interactive award shows. His career also includes time with Ogilvy& Mather Direct, and Leo Burnett in the UK.
Worboys told CB: “If you are going to do this, then you might as wellwork with great talent and clients who what to be challenged by thecreative product. JayGrey is that for me.”

Two talents should go well. Judging by some of the work already out of this new shop they seem to have their ducks in a row. Refreshing.

Interesting……..very interesting……..i think something might be hatching over there.
Shame Saatchi’s digital hasn’t had the same stellar run Tequila have, although it’s done fairly well considering.
Hopefully with room to move Paul can do some interesting stuff north of the bridge.
