Will goes Ferrell over short film The News

8 director Luke Shanahan’s short film, The News, continues to gain attention on the international film festival circuit. The three minute short film has racked up its 23rd festival following the film’s overseas premiere at the L.A Comedy festival last year and has recently been voted one of the top 10 comedy shorts on the web, with comic Will Ferrell giving it the thumbs up, calling it one of the “funniest shorts he’s seen”.

Additionally, Future Shorts has packaged The News into its “spirit offilm” showcase to coincide with the launch of the new Ketel One vodkarange and it has since played in 16 countries throughout Europe wherethe film has even been translated into Kazakh. Next stop in Australiais the St Kilda Film Festival.
