Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne set to launch ‘Boulder Dash’ TVC tonight for the Nissan Navara
Nissan Australia is set to launch the next instalment in the Nissan Navara ‘Australia’s Most Powerful Tradie’ campaign tonight, via Whybin/TBWA Melbourne.
The 60 second spot promotes the Nissan Navara’s impressive payload and power capabilities. Two unsuspecting tradies, an epic mountain landscape, and a classic Australian soundtrack help tell the story.

“The Nissan Navara has a strong, impressive heritage in the Australian marketplace,” said Nissan Australia Executive General Manager Marketing Peter Clissold. “This new commercial reinforces the Navara’s positioning as the most powerful ute in its category, underpinned by its V6 turbo-diesel engine and its reputation as Australia’s Most Powerful Tradie”.
The 60 second spot goes to air tonight (19 November) during the X-FACTOR finale then across free-to-air, pay and regional networks in various formats.

Good track.
I like this – funny.
Good work.
well done guys. I can see your sense of humour shining through.
putting a fake rock in the back of ute, dare I say it, looks fake……….
A good couple of roosters in there.
Great stuff, pay that.
Like it. Shits all over the new Mitsubishi Outlander spot. Why are they importing ads now? And crap ones at that!
@myself that’s a “good looking” couple of rooster in there…
Liking this – I want one.
Jlo written all over this. well done mate.
Love it.
That’s the second Navara spot in a few months isn’t it – the tank ad as well? Certainly putting some effort behind it.
Great to see locally made work as well.
On ya J-Lo
Good fun. Good demo. Good advertising. (Yes, fake rock, but so what? It’s an ad, not a documentary.)
Why do car ads always have dickheads singing?
This is very average guys.
Lot of self-agency commenting going on.
Mike Napolitano is so hot right now.
hey, this is alright. nice work.
Great add although looks like it was filmed going down the devils staircase heading to queens town in NZ, funny add!
Nice work here – funny stuff.
Nice.
Great ad! FX are average.
If it’s Australia’s most powerful tradie, why are they in NZ?
Great Spot. Demonstrates tough and load in an engaging, unpredictable way. Much better than the Tank spot.
but i think it is funny and stands out……
Defo better than Tank spot- but I seem to remember a couple of previous Navara spots pulling big rocks.
My thoughts exactly Anne Onymouse. Snow capped mountains?! Come on.
What? Aussies can’t drive a car in NZ?
Awesome ad. Funniest thing I’ve seen in ages!
Fairly straight forward demo ad. BRIEF: Navara can pull heavy load ‘LATERAL’THOUGHT; show Navara pulling heavy load.
Surprised it was Middleditch, he normally does funnier stuff.
It’s okay but let’s face it, not great.
Great spot. Well done guys.
