We Are Social to present talk on the impending internet revolution at Vivid Ideas on June 4

We Are Social, the global socially-led creative agency, is returning to Vivid Ideas, part of Vivid Sydney, for an insight-filled session about The Impending Internet Revolution on Tuesday, June 4.

The internet as we know it is going through a complete reinvention as a consequence of many factors, from accelerating tech innovation and the drive to connect the ‘Next Billion’, to mounting concerns about data privacy and political manipulation.

The technologies powering this revolution will deliver great benefits to people and society, but brands will need to rethink every aspect of marketing and business if they’re to survive in this brave new world.

This presentation will start with a provocative exploration of the latest trends in tech and consumer behaviour, and offer a compelling vision of the future, complete with clear and practical advice for marketers on how best to prepare for success.

Co-presenting the event, Suzie Shaw (right), managing director of We Are Social Sydney, and Simon Kemp (left), founder of Kepios, a marketing strategy consultancy, and author of the annual Global Digital Report series, examining social media and digital trends across over 230 countries, read by tens of millions of people all over the world.

Says Shaw: “The way we use technology is evolving so rapidly that business leaders and marketers just can’t afford to ignore the radical shift in consumer behaviour that will come with it. I’m excited to share the stage with Simon for what we’re sure is going to be another sold-out session. Expect some acute provocations, delivered in his signature thought-provoking, witty fashion.”
