Picture 1070.pngWA Today reports that WA Tourism’s  “Extraordinary Taxi Ride”, conceived by Host, Sydney, got off to a very flat start this morning, when the RAC had to be called to jump start the taxi being used to promote the state’s natural beauty to the world. The multi-million dollar tourism campaign was due to start in a blaze of glory this morning, with onlookers, dignitaries and local band Gyroscope gathered at Forrest Place to see taxi driver Doug Slater off.

The WA industry is still seething that the account was awarded to an Eastern States agency back in July last year.
