Wrigleyhas launched a new TVC in Australia and New Zealand to announce their new ‘Intense’cool mint product in the Eclipse portfolio.
Created by DDB Sydney and directed by Nick Ball via new production company Finch, the spot highlights the ‘powerful fresh breath’ brand positioning to alignwith the release of Eclipse Intense, Wrigley’s strongest mint ever.
Set in the everyday world, the commercial shows a carpark attendanttrying to tell a driver how much he owes and in doing so makes thewindow go frosty in the process, all due to the powerful coolingexperience that the new ‘Intense’ flavour offers.

funnnny shit.
One seriously unfunny commercial.
director?
@ 2.33….are you kidding?
shit alright….
I love it, subtle performances all round. Who did direct it ? Riggert?
Director: Nick Ball
@4.05….subtle?are you kidding?
….is the agency writing in or the prod co to promote this crap
This is lame and bad…
XXXXStrong Mints did this in the UK ……except theirs were funny.
No matter how minty they are, they can’t get rid of the shitty taste this ad has left.
Simple and funny.
i like it
Nick Ball is on my list. That was impeccably directed. Brilliant casting. Brilliant look. That’s how you direct a spot. It’s not a bad idea either. I’ve waited a long time to see something really good. With all the agencies copping it in the tail, this has provided a little ray of sunshine. Well done some Dude, another Dude and Bernbach.
looks great, funny good performances, i LOLd
pretty much a perfect 15
A simple and to the point ad that has used subtle tongue in cheek humour well I think. I like it and it’ll work hard because consumers will like it too I reckon.
Agree with Yanni. Good job mr ball
i don’t know – i laughed when i saw it on tv.
but then again im easily distracted… Ball!
If an award school student showed me this script I’d tell em it’s not bad but if they kept going they might find greatness.
love the un-thought-out well-thought-out art direction, one car in a massive carpark kills me.
Shit copy of an old formula.
stands out like dogs balls on tv. and dogs balls are good. tasty tasty dog balls.
i’d give it one
all those working for the agency….and for the production company step back from their computers…looks like you have been working overtime to keep the positive spin on this
it’s a 15″ spot…and it looks like it was done on the cheap. .
And wouldn’t go on anyones reel…..
so let’s move on.
It’s funny.
Compared to most of the other crap on tv, this is really nice. Simple too.
it stood out for me while I was fast forwarding the Foxtel iQ
Don’t you just love the DDB spin machine. Guys, give it up, it’s rubbish.
everytime i see this advert it cracks me up .. very funny
