VMLY&R Melbourne picks up Gold Lion in Cannes Design Lions; AKQA Melbourne wins Bronze

The winners have just been announced for the Cannes Design Lions and VMLY&R Melbourne has picked up a Gold Lion for Monash University ‘A Future Without Change’, whilst AKQA Melbourne and São Paulo have scored a Bronze Lion for Instituto ‘Code of Conscience’.

 

Celebrating visual craftsmanship, from 1,262 entries the jury chose to award two Grands Prix as well as 8 Gold, 13 Silver, and 22 Bronze Lions. AKQA Stockholm, Sweden picked up a Grand Prix for H&M’s ‘H&M Looop’, the world’s first in-store recycling system that turns old garments into new ones. The second Grand Prix went to Superunion, London / Notpla Limited, London, UK, for Notpla, a revolutionary material which aims to make plastic disappear.
