Vinnies signs up Sputnik Agency
The St Vincent de Paul Society has awarded its national creative account to Sputnik Agency, following a five-way competitive pitch.
Sputnik was successful against a roster of agencies and is now tasked with driving Vinnies’ fundraising efforts in an ever increasingly competitive market. The incumbent Clemenger BBDO Sydney, who held the account for four years, resigned the account last November, declining an invitation to re-pitch.
“We are thrilled to be selected to partner with such an establishedcharity and are looking forward to championing their worthy causethrough some fantastic creative work,” said Stephen O’Farrell, managing director of Sputnik Agency.
“What Vinnies and our other recent business wins are telling us is thatwe’ve got the integrated formula right. “And what that formula is is ahigh quality, digital core complemented with a
well established offline service to complete a genuine integratedoffering – something which has proven elusive for many agencies in thepast.”
Says Carol Taylor, general manager of Marketing and PublicRelations for Vinnies: “Not only did we feel confident in the abilitiesof Sputnik to deliver on our diverse range of communication needs butthe strong cultural fit made them a stand out option.”
Sputnik has been appointed by Vinnies to produce a range of integratedcampaign elements including: website development; TV; radio and printadvertising; direct marketing and strategic planning.
The St Vincent de Paul Society was established in Australia in 1854 andtoday seeks to focus public attention on social justice issuesaffecting the disadvantaged in our communities.
