Victorian Youngbloods showcase artwork of six young designers and artists seeking to break into advertising at Fully Six exhibition next Tuesday

Fully FOR Web.jpegThe VictorianYoungbloods, a subsidiary of the Communications Council, will present theartwork of six up-and-coming artists and designers seeking to break into theadvertising industry at a ‘Fully Six’ exhibition launch at Guildford LaneGallery on Tuesday 12th October.

Showcasing thecreativity of some of Melbourne’s quirkiest young visionaries, the Youngbloodsare looking to make more than a night of it and roll out the exhibition with a rotatingdoor talent giving up-and-comers, like those exhibiting in ‘Fully Six’, theopportunity to be recognised in what is an increasingly competitiveindustry. 

Jeremy Wortsman, director of Jacky Winter Group – an independent creative agency representing contemporary Australian commercial artists, connecting them with a broad range of clients locally and internationally — will be speaking at the event.

One creativepartnership showcasing their work on the evening will be Amelia Lackmann andGeorgie Seccull of graphic illustration notoriety, Billie Hill.  The collaboration between the fine artsstudent and ad agency creative has led to the formation of a duo that typifythe ‘Fully Six’ exhibition, with their art blurring the boundaries of art andadvertising.

Ogled at by aroom full of advertising up-and-comers and notables, the ‘Fully Six’ Exhibitionwill be showcasing these works later this month.
