Victorian Fire Services targets governments with launch of new ad campaign via The Reactor
The Reactor is heating up political advertising with the launch of a new print and outdoor campaign for the Victorian Fire Services.
With a Federal Election only a few weeks away and the Victorian State Election set for late next year we can expect to see a marked increase in the amount of political advertising in mainstream media.
Says Phil Childs, The Reactor: “There are a lot of special interest groups wanting their issue to be front of mind on election day. With that amount of competition in the marketplace we knew we needed a clear, simple message to help the Victorian Fire Services get their voice heard.
“Cost cutting costs lives is a pretty basic message, but when it comes to politics, clarity and simplicity are more likely to achieve cut through. We used Carlos Alcaide from the the new Hell Studios (formerly Ci Studios) as our photographer because he’s great at bringing drama to images like this. With his work and that of retoucher Richard Wilson (also from Hell) we feel we’ve created work that brings it home to the Victorian electorate: the Napthine Government’s cuts to the Fire Service are putting all our lives at risk.”
The campaign will appear as posters, flyers and outdoor.
