Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA appoints Honae MacNeill to head of broadcast production

honae1.jpgWhybin\TBWA\TEQULIA, expands with the appointment of Honae MacNeill to head of broadcast production.

MacNeill began her career at Film Graphics, one of the country’s premier production companies.

Joining Film Graphics at the age of 18, MacNeill spent the next nine years working her way up the ranks and building a rock solid foundation, eventually becoming a producer for Film Graphics’ Young Directors.

 

In 2006, she joined DDB Sydney where her arrival coincided with that of Matt Eastwood and Steve Back.

In 2007, MacNeill was appointed Head of TV, where she spent the next two years.

MacNeill left DDB Sydney in 2009 to have a baby, and after 12 months off, went back to work freelancing with various agencies including GPY&R Sydney.

 

Says MacNeill: “Joining Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA under the leadership of Matty Burton and Dave Bowman was a no brainer. They’re exceptionally talented, hilariously funny and they don’t take themselves too seriously – my kinda people.”

 

Since arriving, MacNeill has been working to unite forces with Pete Gately, head of content for JAM\ (the content division of Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA) to grow the agency’s broadcast and multiplatform production capabilities.

Says Gately: “With new hires on the cards for the department and a growing need to build integrated content driven campaigns, I’m excited about the future of JAM.”
