What are you guys thinking?
women will love this – nice one
oh dear
aahuh…..mhhmmm….yes, mmmm……i see….ahuh….sooo, a post traumatic stress disorder scenario conveyed with a dolphin sfx….mmmmm…..well! job done….now!, let’s do some more shots of Tequila.
All those people can’t have been responsible for this crap, surely?
…and think it’s terrible. Sorry, it isn’t SMART.
Women will love this!!!!
Based on what insight is that exactly?
chloe jean get back to work (at whybins)
Bad script.
Whole thing is predicated on a brief mention of the brand name at the start. It sounds like she says “Sweet!”. Then the rest of the ad is smart, smart, smart. Then the endline has nothing to do with being smart!
WTF!
Ouch…not very good at all!
Rubbish actually.
The ECD’s must have been asleep the day this idea was presented.
Or perhaps they actually miss having an ECD themselves.
what are those hands up to?
What does it mean, mum?
Loving the endline. It’s just in need of a tighter edit in my opinion.
Well done!
…..
If only the creative group heads had pushed the writer and art director to do something a little bit better then everyone would have looked a lot smarter.
Don’t listen to the haters guys. I know for a fact that a few of the CDs on the circuit are already dubbing you Whybin+Kennedy.
Keep up the good work!
This is an ad that looks like it’s talking to 4 year olds. Totally crap. Can’t believe so many people want to be credited with being involved with it. Advertising of the lowest common denominator.
Absolute rubbish, i doubt that people could be bothered to decipher it.
TV: Great branding for a product called ‘SMART’
PRINT: Happy with (Product goes here). Unhappy without (Product goes here). A new technique that just might work.
4:31.
If you could stick your tongue any further up their arses, you’d be able to look out of their fucking mouths.
Oh, and Wieden & Kennedy don’t do ads like this.
Nor would they PR them.
it feels better when the deal’s better is a nice insight. The rest is rubbish. What has all that smart stuff got to do with anything?
I’m going to go out on a limb and say I like this. Don’t think the average punter will get the reference to Smarties or Smart Cars but it’s good to see someone dumbing it down to a level 6 year olds can understand.
Good stuff Matty & Dave, I’d imagine it’s still a tough slog over there.
