APMA Star Awards entries increase by 35%
The Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA), reports a 35% increase in the number of companies entering into its annual Star Awards, the awards program championing great promotional and experiential work.
Agencies and clients from across Australia and New Zealand submitted their entries, with a new development being the entering of PR companies in the program.
Says David Lo, APMA Chairman: “We’ve seen solid numbers of entries this year but really the most exciting development is the entering of a number of new agencies and companies that haven’t previously done so. It’s a sign that these agencies are acknowledging the importance of benchmarking and celebrating great below the line creativity. The new entrants will ensure healthy competition for the 2012 Awards.”
Now in its seventh year, the awards showcase the exceptional standards achieved through skills and creativity, as well as solid financial and brand building success in promotional and experiential marketing over the past 12 months.
Star Awards finalists will be announced in late May. The awards will be judged by a panel of over 40 industry experts with extensive industry experience.
The announcing of Gold, Silver and Bronze category winners and the overall Grand Prix winner will take place at the Star Awards event to be held at the Ivy on the 28th of June. Bookings can be made here.
All APMA Star Awards winners will be eligible to compete in the MAA GLOBES for the Best Marketing Campaigns in the World, held in October 2012.
