Vale Louie Keramidas, the ‘rock’ of Deluxe
One of the longest standing employees of Deluxe Australia, Louie Keramidas, has passed away. In a message from Deluxe, Louie was described as the “rock” of the lab for many years: “His experience and dedication to his work were invaluable to the company and his customers. He had been with the company for nearly 40 years and has provided an amazing contribution to the industry.
“Louie was a highly respected veteran of our business. He forged many strong friendships and fostered a strong sense of family within the workplace. Louie will be sadly missed by all. He is survived by his three sisters, Loula, Soula and Chrissa.”
Louie’s funeral details are as follows:

Place: Greek Orthodox Parish of St Raphael, Nicholas & Irene,
531 Centre Road, Bentleigh, VIC
The family has requested that in lieu of floral arrangements a donation is made to National Heart Foundation in Louie’s name.

So sorry to hear that. Louie was the reliable link in the chain of film production at Cinevex. When we production people made things difficult, he and his team were there to help.
