The public was invited to cast their votes for their favourite TV commercials from the 12 that were shortlisted by the judging panel in March. Campaign Brief was one of the judges. It was a huge year of voting for the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards, especially for the Most Popular Television Commercial category.
The six finalists for the Most Popular Television Commercial award for 2019 include:

- I am the Captain of my Soul – The Invictus Games, created by Edge
- Naked Wrestling – KFC, created by Ogilvy Australia
- Santa Crashes Christmas – Aldi, created by BMF

Says Thomas Woodgate, editor, TV Week: “The Most Popular Television Commercial category received an overwhelming number of votes in its very first year and we are thrilled to unveil Australia’s favourite TV ads.
“It’s great to see how passionate and highly engaged our audiences are about TV commercials. We are extremely proud to give them the opportunity to make their voices heard on what their favourite ads are and give Australia’s creative agencies the recognition they deserve”.
Says Paul Gardiner, commercial director at Bauer Media Australia: “The TV Week Logies is one of Australia’s most high profile events and we are so pleased that Australia’s marketing and advertising industry gets to be a part of it. The quality of the Top 6 commercials that Australia has chosen as their favourites is superb.”

Son of Dundee did not run as a TV ad in this country. And was created by a US agency. How does it qualify for this Australian only show?
It’s the Logies…. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
It ran in the Australian broadcast of the NFL as well as the US.
It was an Australian client, with creative done by Australian’s (with the perspective of the US coming from Droga) and executed by an Australian production company with Australian talent other than Danny McBride.
dirty bird all the way
Invictus and Serena are the two most deserving. The others are standard ad-land gags selling product.
