wow, seen the intro and – yawn…
Wazza for President
Has anyone noticed the incredible similarity between this campaign and the one below it?
why do i feel like there are going to be a ton of cynical comments?
Yaawni & Yaawni.
Better use of Bear Grylls without using Bear Grylls.
I like it. I actually like it.
A 4WD drives through rugged terrain. WOW. I can see this one going viral.
Webisodes are meant to be interesting with interesting things happening. This does not look “real”.
Well done despite everything fellas. Great piece of work.
It’s cool. I just hope it’s more to it than just the chopper.
Ok, so obvious restrictions aside – I’m assuming they had to use paid talent – this is still pretty nice for me.
And anyone that gets to do a double helicopter shoot and still have a vague idea in there is doing pretty well.
Nicely produced.
Whoa oh ma god, doubbble helicopter!
no matter what is said, at the end of the day it’s product demonstration…with a weak story attached.
Watch for Episode 4 when the guys go Brokeback – “One way in. One way out”.
you people are idiots. please, just stick to your “ads”.
Didn’t blow my mind but it’s good solid content. Better than 6 turds of separation.
Yet all of you would kill to have it on your reel. Well done boys
I quite liked it. The actors are pretty good. So is the terrain.
This work feels like the creatives have followed a basic Me2 recipe for branded content:
Step 1: Think of obvious way to dramatise demonstration of the product
Step 2: Employ actors to play ‘real’ blokes
Step 3: Script dialogue and allow client to sign off/dilute
Step 4: Blow majority of budget on helicopters
Step 5: Grade the footage to within an inch of its life
Step 6: Put it in the YouTube oven until luke warm and then realise you’ve done your money on pointless nonsense that makes the Charlie Sheen live show look like Les Miserables after a couple of bottles of Penfolds Grange.
People, you can’t expect to do the SAME thing and get a DIFFERENT result. When will we ever learn.
Err… no, I wouldn’t “kill” to have it on my reel.
Tit.
An interesting looking vehicle and if they get the price right they might just sell a few. Only comes in yellow and blue according to my local dealer which is a shame as they are the really really crap colours. Makes me wonder if we are just getting the tail end of the left overs from the factory. Aussie dealers are threatening to price them around $45K which makes them tempting. Oh, and the two wankers in the ad are a major put-off.
why does it have to be so aussie bogun? seems very inauthentic in how it feels.
The FJ Cruiser will come in Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, Grey, Red, Bone, White and Light Blue. They’re powered by the same engine as the Prado – so will be powered just fine, handling is spot on too.
it’s an interesring idea, problem is there’s no real draw for the viewing public to be bothered to watch the wepisodes. The two guys just aren’t interesting enough, so all you’re left with is a car driving through rugged terrain.
They should have Bear Grylls for this one. Along with Hugh Jackman in the passenger seat.
The younger guy is fricken hot!
Not believable one bit but I reckon I would rather be out there with a couple of fake idiots than the pompous opinions of a few of you. Seriously do you even remember how to be real? Look at yourselves. You are the reason this shit is even out there and then you try and belittle some people who are doing exactly what you want to do. Jealousy??? I don’t know but pathetic? Yes
