Three Drunk Monkeys, JayGrey, Euro RSCG and Ursa score metal at Clio Healthcare Awards
Four Australian shops scored metal at the second annual Clio Healthcare Awards, held Friday night in New York.
Three Drunk Monkeys, Sydney won Silver in the Innovative Media category for The Cancer Council Sun Sound work, while in the same category URSA Sydney won Bronze for Aged and Community Services Australia ‘Kevin 87’ and Euro RSCG Sydney score Bronze for Skin Cancer Awareness ‘Don’t be a victim’. There was only one Gold, two Silver and four Bronze awarded in the category.


JayGrey Sydney won Bronze in the Television/Cinema/Web Film category for Advocate ‘The guard dog for dogs’, ‘The Guard dog for cats’ campaign. There were only two Silvers and six Bronze in the category.

Nothing against the work, but seriously, it seems some agencies will enter any award show with the hope of a bit of PR. The only real winners are the shows organizers.

Clios were really third-rate until the year the audience stormed the stage and just helped themselves to the awards. Since then, they’ve been fourth-rate.

especially as pharmaceutical advertising is massive and is really hard as it has so many restrictions.
