The Work 2021 Contenders: Clemenger BBDO Sydney
Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2021 Contenders…
Rexona: Pitvertising
Clemenger BBDO Sydney
The BBL Cricket competition is the most heavily branded sporting competition in the world. Every single moment and millimetre has been sold to the highest bidder. To stand out in this cluttered market, Rexona did something crazy. They hid their logo in the armpits of cricket umpires. The logo was only revealed when the umpires raised their arm at crucial points in the game like a wicket or a six. This cheeky idea earned millions of dollars worth of free coverage around the world and made Rexona the most talked about brand of the BBL season.
Maximus: Game On
Clemenger BBDO Sydney
The world of gaming is fiercely competitive with rivalries between friends lasting decades. When Maximus released Game On, the first sports for gamers, we decided to help the weaker members of these Gaming Rivalries. Enter the Maximus Hitman, a service where you could hire our JarradHD, one of Australia’s best gamers, to take over for you online and dominate against your friend. Launching in partnership with gaming publication IGN, the service to date has helped settle scores of rivalries.
Absolut: Colour Project
Clemenger BBDO Sydney
Mardi Gras has a fabulous, colourful history but the earliest memories of the festival have only ever been immortalised in Black and White photography. As part of Absolut’s sponsorship of the festival, we launched the Absolut Colour Project. We took Mardi Gras photographer Geoff friend’s photos from the first march in 78 and, with machine learning brought his canon of work back to life in full colour.
Smiths: You can’t resist the call of Smiths
Clemenger BBDO Sydney
Smiths are bloody delicious. That is an undeniable fact. However the pesky problem with
them is that the second a bag is opened. The vultures arrive. To launch the new platform
‘You can’t resist the call of Smiths’ we decided to dramatise their irresistibility in a big, bold
and fun way.
The entry deadline for Campaign Brief’s The Work 2021 has now closed. Entries are FREE with only an acceptance fee charged for those that make the cut.
