The Work 2020 Contenders: VCCP Sydney
With Cannes Lions and LIA postponed until 2021, Campaign Brief is still out to recognise and showcase the great work that is being produced in the region. So we are introducing The Work 2020 Contenders.
Compare the Market: The Possums Trilogy
VCCP Sydney
A three-part campaign that came together to create a 90 second cinema spot. In this mini-content series, the famous comparison (Meer)Kats, Aleksandr and Sergei, deal with the consequences of a misguided possum catcher. The story unfolds with the adventures or rather misadventures that follow, all laddering up to how things can go very wrong when you don’t compare your options.
Cadbury New Zealand: Donate Your Kit
VCCP Sydney
To help promote community generosity in New Zealand and prove Cadbury’s belief that ‘There’s a glass and a half in everyone,’ we created the Donate Your Kit programme; a response to the fact that 1 in 8 Kiwi kids feel excluded from sport because they don’t have the gear. The programme is centred around the nationwide distribution of iconic purple lockers in which people could donate their pre-loved sports gear. Supported by film, events & activations, OOH, radio, social, display, Olympic sponsorship and a charity partnership with KidsCan, the programme has so far received over 22,000 items and continues to help get thousands of Kiwi kids into sport.

ING: Give Me Something Good
VCCP Sydney
Australians receive 10 million unwanted gifts each Christmas. So an unlikely group of passionate experts from the frontline of festive waste were recruited to reverse this tide of destructive landfill: the real garbage collectors of Greater Sydney. Forming ‘The Rubbish Choir’, they reworked a classic carol and performed ‘Give Me Something Good’; urging Australians to ask for ethically good gifts from ING Dreamstarter – ING’s sustainable impact initiative kick-starting socially responsible small businesses. The campaign was amplified across multiple channels: TV, online film, DOOH, social, digital, PR, radio, a pop-up store and live choir performances.
The entry deadline for Campaign Brief’s The Work 2020 is April 30th. Entries are FREE with only an acceptance fee charged for those that make the cut. See full details and enter here… If your agency would like to showcase your best work in our Contenders series email ricki@campaignbrief.com.
