The Sweet Shop hosts cocktail party for MADC judges at the Gin Palace in Melbourne’s CBD

Last Friday night, after three straight days of judging, The Sweet Shop invited the MADC judges to a cocktail party to thank them for their time and effort at the Gin Palace in Melbourne for what has become The Sweet Shop’s annual event.

Says Wilf Sweetland, managing director: “We are passionate about craft and creativity and that’s exactly what the MADC is all about. We’re really proud to be associated with the Club.”

Says Dawson: “I can’t thank the judges enough for their time, expertise and thoughtfulness – especially those who flew down from Sydney. I also want to thank The Age for hosting the judging at Media House – they were incredibly generous and accommodating.”

The finalists will be announced at a lunch on September 20, with the 2012 MADC Awards to be held on Thursday, 4th October.
