The TAC and Victoria Police are banding together to reduce further deaths on the roads with a new Christmas campaign via Grey, Melbourne.
With history showing an increase in fatalities towards the end of the year, the Victorian Government is reminding the public that the roads are not the place to party as Christmas festivities get underway.

The Police all over Australia need to get there Public Relations Together, this ad makes me have even less respect for them
What a horrible way of putting it, and I supposed they will say “we make no apologies” which is the most arrogant thing you could ever say to the public.
When someone says Police the average reactions is Fines not to Serve and Protect.
I remember getting pulled over on my motorcycle for going a little over the speed limit in the 1981, the first thing the cop said was “do you know why I pulled you over Sir”
I said “I think I was going a bit over the speed limit officer” he replied “yes you were”. He them asked me why I was doing 5kilometers over the speed limit, I said I was running late for work.
He then said “It’s better to be a bit late then get yourself into an accident isn’t it” I said yes. Next he said because you were not riding dangerously and there was not much traffic I will let you go this time with a Warning, but if I see you do it again in my area I will fine you!
I said thank you very much officer and said that’s OK, please be careful..
The last time I was pulled over for speeding on a motorcycle this is what happened.
I was pulled over by a cop pointing a radar at me on a corner going down a hill.
He said “licence please” I said the bike I was riding was not mine and I was having trouble with the Cruise control, he replied “ let me do the talking” he then wrote out the fine and handed it to me.
Then he asked me what happened, I looked at him and said “what” I then said am I free to go and he said yes, I got back on the bike and rode off hoping he would wrap his car around a pole!
Now I have no respect for the police at all just out there to make money..
Notice the difference from then and now, It’s the dollar. They just want your money
It’s a good script. And the track’s a beaut. The pictures look good and with any luck some dickheads out their will think twice about their behaviour. Different to a lot of other stuff on the TV so yeah, good luck with it.
