Bronze Aussies: The Monkeys scores Bronze Lions at the Cannes Film Lions for Tuvalu and Macpac
The Monkeys has scored two Bronze Lions at the Cannes Film Lions presented on the final night of the festival.
The Monkeys scored a Bronze Lion for The Government of Tuvalu ‘The First Digital Lion’, produced by Collider and director Glenn Stewart with MassiveMusic and Thrive PR + Communications.
The agency also scored a Bronze Lion for Macpac ‘Weather Anything’, produced by The Sweetshop and director Damian Shatford with Fin Design + Effects, Squeak E. Clean Studios and The Editors.
The Film Grand Prix Lions were presented to Apple for ‘Relax, It’s iPhone – R.I.P. Leon’ via Biscuit Filmworks LA and Adam&eveDDB London for ITV x CALM ‘The Last Photo’ via Cain & Abel London.
Aussie expat director Kim Gehrig was the director on three Film Lion winning campaigns in including Bodyform/Libresse ‘#Periodsomnia’ via AMV BBDO London and Somesuch LA, which won a Gold Lion and Apple ‘The Greatest’ via Somesuch LA, which scored one Silver Lion and one Bronze Lion.
