GASINC-Andy Room.jpgThe brand new Fairlight EVO is now up and running at GAS. This console is the latest offering from Fairlight, and is a culmination of Fairlight’s 30 years in building quality audio equipment. The Xyenrgi controllers and CC1 technology have been installed across all the studios at GAS.

Says general manager, Les Molnar: “Fairlight is once again showing why it has continued to be a leader in digital sound quality all these years. The controller and switch technology will definitely streamline our production and with the incredible sound quality will push the boundaries for sound production even higher”.

GASINC-Andy-Recording-booth.jpgGASINC-Evo.jpgAlong with the Fairlight upgrade GASINC has also upgraded their musicproduction suite. Says composer (or can we say musical director?) AndyEvans: “It’s been a bit of a journey from the hailstorms we had a fewmonths back that flooded the studio, but it’s also been a great chanceto rebuild the space from scratch rather than adding to it in apiecemeal fashion. Parting with the 80 input analog console was thehardest, but switching everything over to a Solid State Logic (TM)based hybrid system has been a great move. I’m still using 5 racks ofvintage outboard gear but now everything can be recalled almostinstantly which is a great advantage with the pace most advertisingwork moves at.”

First few cabs off the rank from the new room have been GalaxyChocolate for SapientNitro London, Target Toy Sale for The CampaignPalace, Hungry Jacks for MJW Hakuhodo and World Vision for CHEadvertising.
