The Brand Agency rips apart a bus to highlight the threatened Sumatran Tigers at Perth Zoo

The threatened Sumatran Tiger offers its own threat to get you to the zoo. There are fewer than 400 of these tigers left in the wild, less than the number of city buses in Perth. Perth Zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Action program promoted by the Brand Agency helps raise funds to support threatened species worldwide.

Awful.
Nice, never an easy format.
sorry but I just don’t get it. How does a tiger ripping a bus apart communicate that it’s an endangered species? and the line ‘cometo the zoo before it comes to you’ just makes it more confusing. The line on the back about there being less Sumatran tigers than Perth buses is a thought provoking one but again the visual does nothing to help it.
“There are fewer than 400 of these tigers left in the wild, less than the number of city buses in Perth.”
What’s the poster on the side got to do with this amazing fact.
I like it, but haven’t you got your own blog?
Line seems awfully familiar to an old zoo tagline …
Guess the side of the bus wasn’t the only thing ripped off.
Cool and i don’t even use public transport.
o stop it. This is really engaging and impactful. stop it stop it stop it. you twisted fools. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t look twice (or thrice) at this bus. stop it stop it stop it stop it.
Nice. engaging. not new (seen the shark), but you didn’t rip this one off Garry.
Reminds me of this one for Copenhagen zoo:

Nice. Looks great. Not sure why the tail would smash a window but I don’t really care.
I would definitely look twice. Even if the concept doesn’t make sense.
ZOO POO!
So you’re telling me that if I don’t go to the zoo, a tiger is going to attack a bus?
Bus surfing is extremely dangerous. No wonder there are only 400 tigers left.
Love it!
so tigers are vicious????? fantastic insight!!!
Possibly the most confused, irrelevant, poor, uncreative piece of work in a long time.
This is the work of a suit not a creative me thinks, goes like this – what are we talking about – tigers, how many? less than buses – ok lets stick tigers on buses.
The idea that there are more buses than tigers is thought provoking but the message I get from this is, either visit the zoo, or there gonna be let loose on Perth attacking the public godzilla style. Very poorly executed.
400 has so many more possibilities, delve deeper please!!!!
A very arresting visual with a totally confusing message. Unless you have half an hour to read the backstory (which of course is counter to every basic rule of poster advertising: it has to communicate totally in 2 or 3 seconds), all this striking poster seems to say is there’s some sort of risk of animals escaping from the zoo and causing havoc.
