The ADC Young Guns speaker series is extending to the Apple Retail Store in Sydney, this coming Monday morning 6am to 7.30am. It’s free, no reservation required. May’s speaker is Ivana Martinovic (left), who was born in Sydney and currently works as a senior designer with the Sydney office of global branding agency Landor Associates. Ivana is part of the ADC Young Guns 7 class of winners, honored in 2009.
Martinovic has developed identity and branding systems, promotional materials, environmental graphics, packaging and publication designs for a broad range of clients that includes, among others, Australian Graphic Design Association, Ben Sherman, Citi, City of Melbourne, Fidelity International, ISIS Projects, Spicers Paper, University of Sydney Union, Telstra, Yellow Pages, The Cool Hunter, Fresh As, Harper Collins, IAG, Lifestyle Insurance, Logan Wines, Macquarie Telecom, Tower Insurance, Remedies Healthcare and Wagamama.
She was recently selected to be part of the WPP High Potential 2010group. Her work has won a number of awards and has been recognised byGraphis Design, AIGA, Pentawards, the New York and Tokyo Type DirectorsClub, Step Inside Design, HOW International, the Australian GraphicDesign Association, Design & Art Directors Club and Design &Design.
Her interests beyond design include fashion, history and contemporary art.
