tywater.jpgThankyou Water will today launch its first ever TVC as part of “The Thankyou Campaign”.

Produced out of an estimated $110,000 of donated time and resources, the ad features only two

spoken words – ‘thank you’.

Thankyou Water managing director, Daniel Flynn said the ad would provide a way for the brand to reach more Australians with their story.

Says Flynn: “Each person featured in the TVC is a Thankyou Water drinker or a beneficiary of the projects we’ve funded. This is because we wanted to really capture the Thankyou Water moment – where one purchase funds a water project, which then changes a life.”

The three-week integrated campaign celebrates the 15,000 people who now have access to safe

water and calls out for Australians to say one of three million thank yous – one for each and every bottle of water the brand has sold.

Fans are encouraged to say thank you by posting a thank you note on their Facebook or Twitter feeds and donating a share of the TVC or campaign video on social media, or – for those who are more daring – carrying out a gesture that says thank you.

Says Flynn: “The last social media campaign we ran received a huge amount of media attention and also caught the attention of 7-Eleven Australia, resulting in their decision to stock our water in their stores. So we definitely see the value in it for our brand.

“This time around, we’re hoping to see an even bigger impact – especially with the introduction of the TVC. And we think the whole concept of saying a thank you, via social media or in person, will really resonate with our fans.”

Channel 9 and Foxtel have donated advertising space to air the TVC over the campaign period and beyond.
