Bloody uncreative
Bro, New Zealand thinks your ad is dumb.
The TAC advertising campaign has been consistently good, consistently effective, and as a side benefit draws out the small minded, stupid, and envious twats like Tru Bloody and New Zealand. Fortunately it works on people with the intelligence and judgement these tiny willy twats lack. Who knows, it might even prevent one of them being run down by a drunk.
why am i being told what to do by a bloody 3rd party insurance company with a government monopoly? They pretend to be all pias in their intentions, but at the end of the day they’re just trying to safeguard their payouts. Get F……d
powerful. real powerful.
execution-wise I’m not sure if having the bloke at the end was a good move.
Feels like the client demanded that bit tacked on to the end.
Um, yeah, nah Groucho. Small-minded twats are precisely the target audience for TAC. If you’re not reaching them, you’re failing miserably.
Road safety adverts that target, those with “intelligence and judgement”. OK, so you really don’t get it. Drunk driving isn’t a problem with people with “intelligence and judgement”. You see, they use their smarts and intelligence and don’t drink and drive. Ads that seem clever to folk as smart as you -think you are- Groucho, completely miss the mark with the people who are involved in crashes – those making poor judgements. Try targeting the problem, not award judges and your buddies. Penis size insults? At least leave the childish retorts for later in the thread, it hasn’t descended to that yet surely.
Seriously underwhelmed. TAC have been doing such great and powerful stuff this past year or so, how did this one fall through the cracks? I felt entirely untouched by this. Whereas previous campaigns here have bowled me over. Ah well.

You bloody idiot. Really? That’s what you’ve got to say?
To everyone else who thinks the ads are unoriginal – you’re right.
With every new day comes another set of invincible kids with a licence (co-incidentally available at the legal drinking age…) and another group of older drivers who now think they’re even better at driving drunk than before. And then those who simply forget to think about it, ‘casue nothing bad’s ever happened to them.
The TAC’s message is universal, never-ending, and the outcomes (as portrayed with great significance in the spots) never change and certainly never improve for victims.
You’ll get no argument against these ads in any form from anyone who sadly relates to the tales depicted (or yet to be).
The credits certainly confirm a few things.
