Taboo launches new app designed for making legally binding non-disclosure agreements

The Taboo Group has created Privi – a new iPhone app to revolutionise the way non-disclosure agreements are made, with a quick process that is easy and legally binding.

The app, co-developed with corporate law firm Kelly Hazell Quill, makes legally binding non-disclosure agreements using the iPhones reverse camera, GPS location and date stamp, replacing the need for a name, signature or witness.

Users simply enter the topic of the conversation, take a photo of each of the party members using the app, agree to the non-disclosure terms and then the app creates a locked PDF document of the contract for safe keeping by all parties.

The need for this app was obvious for Andrew Mackinnon, managing director of The Taboo Group, and co-creator of Privi.

Says Mackinnon: “On several occasions I had missed opportunities to hear new business ideas from fellow entrepreneurs because an NDA wasn’t available at the time. Privi now means that those personal secrets or new ideas can be shared with confidence.”

Privi is another successful mobile application launch to come out of Taboo, which now boosts a suite of digital assets including the recently awarded ‘Lol-a-Coaster’ for Chupa Chups (Stuart Alexander), ‘five:am Moment’ for five:am organic yoghurt and ‘Bottlenose’ for Sensis API.
