Starcom creates new forum to invite media industry debate – first event at 7pm,Tuesday August 31 at the Lord Nelson Hotel in The Rocks

At 7pm on Tuesday August 31 at the Lord Nelson Hotel in The Rocks, Starcom will host the first in what will be a series of free sessions over the coming months, aimed at sharing real industry insights about the future of the media industry.

Says Starcom MediaVest Group Sydney managing director Bob Goodge:”There are plenty of senior spokespeople to opine about the future ofmedia, however we rarely give a broader sweep of our people theopportunity to contribute to the discussion.

“We hope these speaker sessions will attract a broad spread of bothmedia and non media people to enter into the debate about where theindustry is going, how we will get there and what impact it will have.”

The event will open with a discussion about major events that are shaping the industry.

This will be followed by an open debate moderated by Starcom executives where everybody will be encouraged to have their say.

The event is expected to attract agency executives, clients, mediastudents and all levels of media people working in the industry,bringing professionals together in a productive social environmentdesigned to give all voices equal share.

Starcom’s inaugural speaker session takes place at 7pm on TuesdayAugust 31 at the Lord Nelson Hotel in The Rocks. Future events willfeature key spokespeople from a diverse range of other media channels.
