Ogilvy Sydney has used stop-motion in its latest spot to launch the St.George Complete Freedom Transaction Account. Customers get SMS updates that you can customise to inform you of a low balance, when direct debit payments are withdrawn, when your salary is deposited and more. Plus $0 monthly fees when you deposit $2,000 a month, like your salary.

can i be the first to say how crap this is?
You just don’t get it, 3.26. See, when she gets the message that her pay’s gone in, she looks at the camera in that cheeky way and you JUST KNOW that she’s gonna go out and start spending again! Genius!!!!!
This feature would be of no use to me as I am rich and no amount of spending on trivial items like transport, clothing, food, weaponry, could diminish the vast wealth in my possession.
Why is it that Ogilvy’s always behind the times creatively and executionally??
They can’t seem to do any good television – or print for that matter….or digital……or direct marketing. Cracking salesmen though!!
You. Just. Can’t. Connect. With. A. Character. Who. Is. Still.
Stop motion is the blow up doll of TV advertising – cheaper and easier than the real thing, but missing something quite important.
Not even worth shitcanning, is it.
Aaaah….nice to see Ogilvy is back to doing what they do best. Nice to see their expensive import making such an impact.
utter shite
