Spotlight on Women Directors: Linnéa Bergman
As part of a regular series with Free The Bid Australia, Campaign Brief shines the spotlight on top female commercials directors in Australia and New Zealand…
Linnéa Bergman is a director at PHOTOPLAY. It was an art school course in title sequences and motion graphics that acted as Linnéa’s gateway drug into filmmaking.
Three best spots:
What had started as a passion for drawing and dreams of becoming an illustrator quickly saw its life flash before it at 25 frames per second.
Tactile, sensual and immersive; Linnéa makes films with a heartbeat. It is not hard to believe that Linnéa’s second home growing up was The Stockholm Opera House. Her work draws as heavily from her upbringing surrounded by music and dance as it does from her eye for composition and skill as a visual artist.
A truly unique talent, Linnéa’s work is sensory and beautiful. Films you can both touch and be touched by.
