Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity announces remaining eight shortlists

Screen Shot 2012-09-16 at 1.47.36 PM.pngLong queues at registration desks greeted delegates on the first day at the Spikes Asia Festival which kicked off this week in Singapore.

Australia continues to do well according to the final 8 shortlists that were released earlier today scoring 10 out of the 31 finalists in the Branded Content category; 4 out of 5 in Creative Effectiveness; 10 out of 63 in Digital. In the Film category 18 advertising agencies and 19 production companies made the shortlist and for the Film Craft category 16 ad agencies and 21 production companies made the shortlist. In the Integrated category Australia scored 7 out of 16; 6 out of 20 in Mobile and 12 out of 72 in Print & Poster Craft.

A total of 4860 entries were received from 23 countries, an increase of 33 per cent from last year. 703 entries were received from Australia, followed by India with 694 and Japan with 594. Host country Singapore entered 524, followed by China with 448 and Thailand with 411 entries.
