Spikes Asia Awards: Australia and New Zealand scores 13 finalists in Radio category

13 entries from Australia and New Zealand has made the cut at theshortlist stage of the Radio category of theSpikes Asia Awards, currently underway in Singapore. There was a total of 19 finalists in the Radio category.

Thewinners of the 2010 Spikes Asia Awards will be announced and honouredat the Awards Ceremony tomorrow night (Tuesday) taking place at the impressive EsplanadeTheatre, home to Singapore’s vibrant performing arts community and oneof the country’s premier attractions, from 7pm. Following days ofdeliberation by the juries, this dazzling event will recognise the bestwork in Asia and conclude the Spikes Asia Festival.

Screen shot 2010-09-21 at 8.09.22 AM.png TheAfter-show Party takes place at the Indochine Waterfront Bar andRestaurant from 9.30pm where the celebrations of the Spikes Asia Awardswill continue into the night. The venue is a short walk along theriverside from the Spikes Awards and has a superb view over the river.

India leads with the most shortlisted entries of all categories judged so far at 61, followed by Japanwith 58, Australia with 45, Hong Kong with 43, Singapore with 40, NewZealand with 33, China with 26, Thailand with 25, The Philippines with11, Indonesia with 9, Malaysia with 6 and Korea with 4.
