Song Zu scores a hat-trick of awards
Song Zu Sydney and Singapore have taken out three significant music and sound awards in the past month.
The run started in mid October with Song Zu Singapore’s, Eden, being awarded a Silver for Sound Design at the Promax awards for his musical sound design piece for Australia’s Next Top Model, which was created to brief out of the sounds that “models make when they take public transport”.
This was followed by a double win on Monday night of this week when Haydn Walker (pictured making his speech) won Best TV Theme at the Australian Guild of Screen Composers Awards for this theme to the children’s television series, Scariacs.
Meanwhile the same night, but on the other side of the world at the London International Awards, Leo Burnett Sydney were picking up a silver statue for Music – Original Song for Bundy “Ain’t No Nancy Drink”, co-written with Ramesh Sathiah and Nathan Cavaleri of Song Zu Sydney.
