Simon Lister photographic exhibition ‘I AM’ at Showcase Gallery Darlinghurst, September 6-10
Adventuring through many countries of the world, Simon Lister takes the road less travelled to uncover places not found on the tourism map. With a camera and his Royal Enfield motorbike he rides over the highest mountain roads in the world taking on some of the most extreme conditions.
‘I AM’ is a collection of portraits (including the one pictured), from the townships of South Africa to the deserts of Morocco and the mountains of Ladakh India.
Born in NZ, Lister has had a passion for photography from the age of 14, not only has he developed a keen eye, but a keen ear as well currently having a business, Nylon Studios that creates soundtracks for television commercials. It’s this combination of creativity and personal interest that has lead to this unique perspective on life, travel and discovery.
All proceeds from print sales will be donated to SAHAS, which is a charity organisation based in Mumbi India that supports women and children affected by AIDS/HIV.
Suite 3, Level 2, 85 William Street, Darlinghurst.
Opening hours: Tuesday-Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 11am-3pm
