SGIO celebrates 25th anniversary of West Coast Eagles with new spot via Whybin\TBWA Sydney
To celebrate SGIO’s sponsorship renewal and the 25th anniversary of the club, SGIO today launched a new television commercial via agency Whybin\TBWA\Tequila, Sydney, starring West Coast Eagles coach John Worsfold and a crop of the club’s leading talent, including Darren Glass, Dean Cox, Andrew Embley, Shannon Hurn, Josh Kennedy and Adam Selwood.
The commercial was filmed in Perth and showcases the experiences the West Coast Eagles has had on the football field over the past 25 years and how SGIO has – and will continue to – support the club, the fans and the people of Western Australia into the future.

Really lifting the standard of the agency. Great work.
I think ‘showcases’ is a bit of a stretch
Thank God they can play footy, because they can’t act.
as wooden as their spoon
Its strong and simple – Go the Eagles
awful.
Way off the mark.
When you lot get senior enough to be given such briefs, you’ll probably realise that it’s a lot harder than it looks to satisfy what I’m sure was a fairly demanding list of mandatories (use the players etc etc) together with a proposition which was really just a point of information and I’m sure the budget wasn’t massive either.
You’ll find out one day.
So why p.r. it 9.59?
11.23
They didn’t.
The old “each person says one line” trick.
Looks like they’ve just projected their rabo rebels spot onto the background and wacked a new voice over on top of it.
Nike did this years ago and needless to say did it better.
