Seven new hires for DM shop MercerBell
B&T DM Agency of the Year MercerBell continues to grow at a rapid pace in 2010 with the appointment of seven new hires, due to start in the next two weeks. Recruited to address the increased workload in 2010 from new and existing clients including NRMA, MasterCard and Toyota, the roles are a combination of creative and account management.
Paul Critchley will take on the role of Senior Art Director,working across print and digital communications. Paul has more thanten years experience in both the UK and Sydney working for direct andthrough-the-line agencies on clients including Nintendo, Audi andCoca-Cola.
With over 13 years marketing and advertising agency experience including roles at The Brandshop and FPA advertising, Helen Harriswill join the team as a Senior Account Director. Helen’s focus will beon strategy and business development across several clients.
Verity Mitchell joins MercerBell as Account Director, working onthe MasterCard, Blackwoods and Bay Audio accounts. Verity brings awealth of experience to the team having worked for a number ofcompanies including Commonwealth Bank in Sydney and Ogilvy in New York.
Andrew Coogan joins the Toyota team as a Junior Account Directorfrom Ogilvy in Sydney. He brings to MercerBell four years experience inboth the UK and Australia working on blue-chip clients, includingProcter & Gamble and Tesco Telecoms.
Also joining the MercerBell team are Account Executives, Heidi Thiering and Carly Drew. Heidi will be working on NRMA Motoring & Services and AustraliaPost, while Carly will join the MasterCard, Bay Audio and Blackwoodsteams. In addition, Angelica Celima will take on the very busy position of Traffic Manager as the Creative Services Department expands.
