Top art director Nils Eberhardt departs BMF for Saatchi’s Sydney to partner with Steve May
Highly awarded senior art director Nils Eberhardt (far left) has moved from BMF to Saatchi & Saatchi to join forces with writer Steve May (left).
Nils was partnered with BMF associate creative director, Richard Morgan before heading to The Rocks and into the now vacated Dunlop Volleys of recently departed art directed Eron Broughton.
Says Nils on his new role: “Fuer mich ist es eine grosse Chance und Herausforderung bei Saatchi & Saatchi anzufangen und Teil eines so motivierten Teams zu sein.”
Says May: “Surprisingly, I do a much better Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation than him.”
Nils, originally from German shop Jung von Matt, Hamburg, joins Saatchi’s having had success at D&AD, Cannes, Award, Clio and The One Show.

Steve may, but Nils will.
Gott sei Dank für die Google Translate. Verdammt schwer zu verstehen, was die deutschen Kollegen etwas anderes sagt.
Congrats Nils…top bloke, top creative
A great surfer and an even better art director.
I’ve no doubt the BMF crew will miss the hoodie wearing German.
Good luck mate.

Couldn’t be a nicer team!
What, no Okinawa T-shirt Stevey?
Mayday, Mayday!
Stevie won, Ez, Nils.
Too busy backslapping myself on that headline and rushing it to press to get the punctuation (and meaning) right.
Stevie won: Ez, Nils.
Yeah. That’s better.
Steve
Look after him- he’s a great dude.
He speaks five languages, including account service.
Wears unnaturally large headphones.
Wants to do ads that will keep a jury awake at night.
And he does a damn fine mood board.
Richo
Richo, Nils hasn’t felt that much love since the last time he was at The Bunga Bar.
Nils, The Bookie hasn’t been that generous since buying a round of Snakebite at The Walkie.
Good luck Nils at Saatchi’s,
but I do miss Eza 🙁
