SBS On Demand allows consumers to watch what they want, when they want instantly and gives them free, unlimited access to programs, films and events.

Says Katherine Raskob, SBS acting director of marketing: “The SBS On Demand platform plays an exciting role in bringing the breadth of SBS content to all Australians. The beauty of this on-air campaign is that it celebrates the diverse nature of our content, the wide range of emotions it can illicit and that viewers can watch SBS content when and where it suits them.”

Says Mark Molloy, director from Exit Films: “More than anything else, emotions are the things that make us human and yet they are the part of ourselves over which we have the least control. One of our deepest emotions – empathy for another person, is not formed by listening to their words but by looking at their face. It’s in their eyes, the twitches in their brow and the subtleties of their smile.”

Says Graeme Pereira, of The Butchery in Melbourne: “Editing these films was a challenging process. Although it doesn’t seem that way when looking at the final product. We received about 2 hours of rushes for each performance. Finding the right emotions to piece together seamlessly was like building a jigsaw puzzle with almost infinite amount of permutations.”
