RTA tell us to buckle up via The Campaign Palace
February 4 2011, 9:46 am | | 13 Comments
In a significant departure from the usual shock tactics of fatality adsfor road safety, The Campaign Palace has taken a new, light-heartedapproach for client RTA to help raise awareness of the importance ofbuckling up seatbelts.
The mutli-channel campaign, Clip EveryTrip, is aimed primarily at changing the behaviour of rural maledrivers who forget to buckle up or who believe they donât need aseatbelt for short trips.

ah my eyes!!!!!
Mercedes-Benz have incorporated a similar mechanism in their cars since 1982. It just doesn’t whistle.
Heart isn’t the only thing that’s light on.
Not the most original concept by any means…but I like it. Straight forward, simple and easy to watch. Makes a change from the graphic – in your face, shock ads that you watch once and try to forget. It’s not an award winner, but I would be pretty happy if I was the client. Nice to see an RTA safety ad that does not make you want to chunder up breakfast. Good job.
My seatbelt makes a click sound….and this ad won’t change a thing, especially with country folk.
i actually like this. its simple and delivers the message in a light hearted “aussie” manner. in the vein of the old “slip slop slap” campaign.
FUCK that’s awful.
Oh my aching balls.
WTF Fishy?!!
Click clack, front and back.
End of story.
That’s the worst RTA ad in years. What a waste.
That’s real car crash of an ad.
That music doesn’t help.
Ad’s ok – simple message, pretty well told BUT…
The funny bit is the end v/o:
“…..the New South Wales Government Sydney”
SYDNEY – that’s just what a country voter wants to hear!
For the average man on the street it works.
Nice work too Phil ~
