kind a like they’re drinking their own urine
Vampire blackcurrants. Or cannibals maybe.
I don’t know where to start.
The script is just idiotic. Kid’s arn’t stupid, they’re just young.
And the strategy? Trying to resonate with all the 7 year old who’ve gone off travelling O/S and how much they miss mum and dad?
I like the animation though.
Hey kids, want to hear a bedtime Strategy?
What a nonsense.
Frame for frame redo of an original old Ribena ad from the UK.
Good animation. Shite idea.
Ad wankers on this thread have lost their sense of fun. grow down.
Very grey, but not very Jay.
Dear 9.35.
If you think the way to strategise to a 7y/old is to push for an idea that resonates with their first-hand life experiences you are sadly mistaken, dick head.
I suggest you it down and watch Dora the Explorer, you’ll soon see their world is made of talking monkeys, and fun little forest adventures.
nice work jay
this ad will work, even if the story is naff. but then again, naff works here. nice animation.
@ 9.35
Are you kidding? Kids will love this. And they’ll get it too.
best adapted screenplay…

nice reprisal – kids and mums will love.
Wow so much involvement and so much critisism. It’s an ad. For a cordial. For Families. It’s sweet, fun, kind and innocent. Settle down people. No-one in the target market will dissect it as you have. They are busy having a life.
It doesn’t matter what the product is or who the target audience is, clients pay agencies for original creative work. Perhaps Grey were specifically asked to update the old ad (it happens). If not, I think Ribena deserve a refund.
Rather then having to give a refund, I’m guessing the brief from the client was “we really like this old ad so we just want to remake with today’s animation technology”.
i agree with 11:15 i’ld say that’s exactly what happened.
