Republic of Everyone appoints Dae Levine to newly created role of managing director; Scott Matyus-Flynn joins the board of directors

ImageGen.jpgSustainability strategy and communication company, Republic of Everyone – based in Surry Hills – has appointed ex-acting chief executive officer and head of communications of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, Dae Levine as managing director of the four-year-old company.

This promotion to a newly created role comes after Levine joined Republic of Everyone earlier this year as head of policy and advocacy.

In further appointments head of strategy, Scott Matyus-Flynn has been appointed to the board of directors of Republic of Everyone.

ImageGen-1.jpgMatyus-Flynn (left) has been with Republic of Everyone for three years and has built the companies strategic capability leading projects for 1Degree (News Limited), Australian Ethical, Lendlease, Médecins Sans Frontières, NAB, Unilever, Schweppes and VISY.

Says Matt Perry, co-founder and partner of Republic of Everyone: “In the time Dae has been working with us she has established herself as a integral part of our future growth and development. Scott has been with us since nearly the beginning and has been a significant part of our success in building a strategically led creative business.

“Their appointments reflect our intention to establish Republic of Everyone as a leader in the sustainability strategy and communications space both here in Australia and internationally.”

Levine has previously worked for Essential Media Communications, and in the United States with Vote for America, Human Rights First, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the Democratic National Committee and EMILY’s List.

In her new role Levine will continue to lead work on policy development and advocacy efforts, and she will also oversee all day-to-day administration and operations of the company – overseeing strategy, digital, creative, production, new business and accounts.

Matyus-Flynn has previously worked with Aegis Media Global Management (UK) as communications strategy director, Connect (Melbourne) and Carat (Sydney and London).
