Renegade Films teams up with Peter and Chris O’Doherty for The Australian Print Workshop
Renegade Films’ close ties with the music and art communities has resulted in a collaboration with internationally renowned arts institution The Australian Print Workshop and Chris (Reg Mombassa) and Peter O’Doherty of Mental As Anything and Dog Trumpet to create a suite of prints to be exhibited at the APW at 210 Gertrude Street Collingwood between 13th August and 17th September.
All the original lithographs and etchings are for sale at the Australian Print Workshop or online as of yesterday Monday 15th August.
In addition to its tvc and broadcast projects Renegade’s LIVE events are becoming a feature of the company’s developments and incorporate sponsorship opportunities, performance and often forums based around their documentary work. In the last few months the company has been worked on live performances with The Aria Hall of Fame, Seven Songs to Leave Behind, The Melbourne Festival, Chamber Music Australia and will soon be working with Melbourne’s Wheeler Centre.
The O’Doherty project, Double Vision will be screened on the ABC’s Arts Nation program.
