Radio Rentals appoints CHE, The PR Edge, OMD
Radio Rentals and Rentlo in South Australia – owned by The Thorn Group – has appointed Clemenger Harvie Edge (CHE), Melbourne as its creative advertising business, CHE subsidiary, The PR Edge, as its consumer marketing public relations partner, and OMD as its media planning and buying agency.
The appointments follow a comprehensive pitch process for the advertising business that began in January, involving a complete through-the-line communications review.
The PR Edge made a separate submission to Radio Rentals and Rentlo to supplement their existing corporate communications, with increased brand and community-focused activity.
Radio Rentals and Rentlo general manager, James Marshall, says the breadth of skills and experience housed within CHE made the Melbourne-based agency an attractive choice: “Radio Rentals and Rentlo have a long, proud history of offering the best and fairest service to Australians looking to rent leading household appliance brands. With CHE and The PR Edge on board, we look forward to developing closer relationships with our existing customers and attracting new customers as well.”

Very sad day for SA agencies if they can’t even hold onto one of the very few remaining SA brands. I presume that Thorn Group is based in Melbourne.
weren’t they with a melbourne agency already?
E – none of the above. BCM is a Brisbane agency and have had the biz for a year or so.
