QVB launches new autumn winter campaign
The Queen Victoria Building, one of Sydney’s most elegant and historic shopping experiences, has launched their 2011 Autumn Winter campaign themed around the concept of the ‘Art of Life’.
Created by PDC Creative, the campaign positions the QVB as a gallery of classic style, home to sophistication, beauty and culture. The inspiration behind the campaign celebrates the era where a woman’s elegance and charm were her preferred accessories.
The campaign will be delivered across multiple channels including adsin The Sydney Magazine, in-centre, and within the QVB’s own seasonalglossy magazine, Life and Style.
Australia’s first true international supermodel, Anneliese Seubert, wasselected as the face of the campaign. Her old world glamour, refinement, and stature within the fashion industry made her theperfect choice. Taryn McGurk, Ipoh Group Marketing Manager, explainsfurther,
“Anneliese embodies the style and sophistication of the QVB experience. She is a great ambassador for this campaign and representative of ourQVB customer as she is intelligent, cultured, and ultimately, fashionable.”
“The photo shoot is classic yet feels simultaneously contemporary, itis vibrant yet conveys a sense of nostalgia. These are the qualitiesthat are synonymous with the Queen Victoria Building and what ourcustomers expect when shopping with us.”
The QVB has also partnered with author and stylist, Sibella Court, toact as a guest contributor for Life and Style magazine. Sibella revealsher secrets for living well and offers an indispensable roundup of thisseason’s best looks for the home.
The QVB is giving their readers the chance to win a home styling session with Sibella
accompanied by a $1,000 QVB Gift Card to complete their look with designer homewares, antiques and collectables.
Special live events, which bring the campaign to life within the QVB, are also set to be revealed in April.

Don’t mean to be negative but this agency needs a creative director or someone who understands advertising. They seem to have potential.
PDC – where advertising is nothing but a photoshoot.
many ideas showcased on this blog are average but at least they’re ideas. unlike this piece of bland editorial from a sunday paper magazine…
Sorry, WTF is ‘the art of life’.
Why do PDC keep bothering.
