Every show we’ve put it in, it’s brought home Gold and that’s arare thing to be a part of for anyone. A big thanks to Lion Nathan forbeing brave and trusting and to Steve and Revolver for helping us bringit to life.”

Also in the television category, Australian agencies picked up three Bronze Clios for 303, Publicis Mojo and Droga5. In Direct, Bronze went to Leo Burnett Sydney and DDB Sydney.  In Print, Bronze also went to The Furnace, Sydney.

In the Billboard category, Colenso won Bronze for Road Safety’s ‘Bleeding Billboard’. In radio, two Bronze Clios went to Clemenger BBDO, Wellington for Road Safety’s ‘It’s Your Call’.

‘Going West’ was the result of eight months’ work by Colenso  BBDO and London’s Andersen

M Studios, and uses  hand cut pop-up scenery to bring to life an excerpt from the

Maurice Gee novel.

Colenso’s ECD Nick Worthington says it is always great to take out a top international award from New Zealand.

“It was great to see the Going West film, which brought to life a classic piece of New

Zealand literature, gain such huge global traction on-line, becoming a YouTube hit and

reaching the worldwide top 10  in the viral video charts,” says Worthington. “It was viewed online more than 788,000 times, inspired more than 3400 tweets on Twitter or blog posts worldwide, and reached number 8 in the Viral Video Chart compiled by Unruly Media.”

These latest awards follow its two golds in the  2010 AXIS Awards and

the Grand Prize from the New York Museum of Art  and Design’s Moving Paper festival.
