PreviousNext appoints Amanda Wise executive producer as Drupal adoption surges in Australia
PreviousNext, Australia’s premium Drupal website strategy, design and development firm has appointed interactive industry specialist, Amanda Wise, to the role of executive producer.
Since its inception in 2009, PreviousNext has worked with high profile clients migrating complex websites to the open-source content management platform, Drupal. The company has succeeded by leveraging its team’s unparalleled experience and focus on quality and innovation, delivered efficiently through an agile approach to process and development.
According to Owen Lansbury, PreviousNext’s managing partner, Wise’s appointment adds essential capabilities to the growing team at a time when Drupal is being adopted by an enormous range of organisations: “Our connection with Amanda goes back to the mid 1990s in the earliest days of Australia’s web industry, and we’ve always kept close tabs on her high profile career. It’s really exciting that things have come full circle so we can now bring her incredible depth of experience to our clients at PreviousNext”.
With 15 years in the interactive industry, Wise is a specialist in digital strategy and large scale project management, producing multiple award-winning projects for the world’s biggest brands. She formed the seminal agency Radiant Productions in 1994, held senior roles at Agency.com in London and Razorfish in San Francisco, returned to Australia to join Tequila Sydney as executive producer/digital strategist, then head of digital at Frost Design before a recent stint relaunching the ABC TV portal.
Says Wise: “It’s exciting to be joining a company that’s at the absolute forefront of Drupal being adopted by major organisations as their preferred CMS, and working with some of the most switched-on clients in the country as a result. PreviousNext’s blend of user experience design and technical skills are some of the best I’ve worked with in my 15 years building large scale websites, and I’m looking forward to contributing my production and digital strategy skills to this. It’s going to be a busy but rewarding year.”
